Why PEL was Made to Sell Processing Machinery and Parts

I have been in the dry powder/solids industry since 1977. In all those years I have never seen a place (website) that allows a person that owns a piece of processing machinery or excess parts for processing equipment to list it so that any buyer can find it and negotiate a price that results in a “win-win” for both parties.

There are websites that post used processing machinery but it is usually a used equipment dealer that doesn’t really know much about key things like: How old is the unit? Does it run ok? Was it maintained? What was it used for? What capacity could you get out of it? What products ran through it? Etc… Also, when a used equipment dealer sells a piece of used machinery they usually talk the owner into selling them their machinery at a very low amount and then turn around to sell it for a very high price. That’s a classic “lose-lose” situation that I am trying to prevent in this industry.

This website literally takes the middle man out of the deal… the guy that makes the most of your money!
